Olstad has been an employee in Hydro since 1986. First in Hydro Fertilizers, Sales and Marketing Department, with commercial experience within sales, marketing, and logistic solutions, on national and international level. Since 2000 Olstad has been an employee in Hydro Aluminium AS Metal Sourcing & Trading as a contract administrator and metal coordinator.
Olstad has been an employee representative in the Norsk Hydro ASA’s Board of Directors from 2020 until 2022.
Through union work, Olstad has gained significant competence within workers’ rights as well as people and remuneration. She represents Negotia in Hydro, employee representative since 2012, and chair since 2015.
